CUBS cooked up a storm when they were invited to create their own Olympic flag-themed pizzas.
The eight to ten year olds from 4th Spalding Cubs used various vegetables and other ingredients to concoct their creations under the watchful eye of Sir John Gleed School food technology teacher Sue Rees.
The cookery session was part of the cub’s half-term Olympic-themed activities and all of the designs were based on flags from around the world.
Mrs Rees said: “They made their own dough and topping and they really seemed to enjoy themselves.
“There were some very creative designs and I think many of them enjoyed tucking into their pizzas for tea that night.”
Their work also resulted in the group of more than 20 youngsters earning their cookery badge.
