The annual Crystal Ball raised a record £11,367 for its chosen charity, The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation.
Guests at the ball, held at Springfields Events Centre, were treated to a three course meal, wine, a midnight snack and live entertainment from the Wild Boys throughout the evening.
The annual event is now in its third year, and the latest sum of money means that around £28,000 has been raised so far by the balls for charity.
The Roy Castle Lung Cancer Foundation is close to the hearts of a number of the committee members, after losing friends or family members to lung cancer.
Chief organiser, Kelly Beba said: “All of the guests seemed to have a great evening - the dance floor was still busy when the lights went up at 2am. That’s always a top priority for us, second only of course to raising money for the Lung Cancer Foundation.
“The support we have received from our guests and our sponsors has been truly phenomenal, I can’t thank people enough.”
Kelly added: “The date has been set for the 2015 Crystal Charity Ball and we have already begun receiving requests for table reservations.”
