The 35th Crowland Show takes place at Snowden Field in the town this Saturday (8.30am onwards).
It’s a fabulous day out, with everything from horse events (that go on all day and culminate in the Supreme of Show competition at 4.30pm) and a dog show to a display from the Raptor Foundation.
There are also vintage vehicles – and there will be a drive around Crowland in the afternoon – a clown walking on stilts and riding his unicycle, a WI marquee to exhibit or admire crafts and other skills plus a baby show (judging 3pm).
Pat Heaps will be displaying a collection of antique lace as well as some she has made, and she will be demonstrating and allowing visitors to have a go.
Admission is £5 adults, £4 concessions and children and a family ticket costs £10.
