A 47-year-old woman found dead at her home in West Pinchbeck has been named by police as Linda Bradley.

Police are still waiting for the results of forensic tests carried out on Miss Bradley whose body was found inside a house in Elizabeth Crescent on Sunday, April 26.

A post mortem examination has been carried out on the body, but a Lincolnshire Police spokesman confirmed that it could take “some weeks” before the findings of forensic tests would be known.

The spokesman said: “The post-mortem took place on Monday, April 27 but some of the test results take some weeks to come back, so the death is still being treated as unexplained.”

A police guard originally put in place outside the house was lifted as enquiries continued into the woman’s death.

Meanwhile, South Lincolnshire Coroner’s Office has confirmed that an inquest won’t take place until after the forensic test results are known.

Anyone with information about the woman or the circumstances of her death should call 101, quoting incident 244 of April 26.
