A WOMAN was arrested for being drunk and disorderly after police spotted her behaving aggressively in the street.
Charlotte Piccaver (25) was in Sheep Market, Spalding, on June 28 and two women were trying to calm her down, prosecutor Rebecca Ritson told town magistrates.
Piccaver was “extremely verbal and loud”, swearing and being aggressive towards one of the women.
Miss Ritson said: “Officers tried to move her away. She was waving her arms about – she did walk off and slapped a shop window, but very softly and didn’t cause any damage.”
She had scratches on her arms and police were unsure whether they were caused by fighting or falling over.
Piccaver, of The Square, Spalding, was fined £50 and ordered to pay £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
She pleaded guilty at Thursday’s hearing and said she was receiving help from Addaction.
Piccaver said: “I am still coming off the drugs and I have stopped the drink now since this thing.”
