Warning after spate of thefts

POLICE are warning people to be on their guard following a number of thefts across South Holland.

• During daylight hours on Monday, thieves broke into a house in Clover Way, Spalding, through French doors at the back and took a laptop.

• Thieves stole CCTV cameras from outside a house in Stennet Avenue, Spalding, between 10pm on Monday and 8am the following morning.

• Diesel was stolen from a DAF truck parked in layby on A17 Washway Road at Saracen’s Head, sometime between 9pm on Monday and 6am the following morning.

• Catalytic converter thieves struck in Whaplode targeting a Kia Sedona parked in Millers Rest, overnight between Sunday and Monday.
