Two sent to crown court

A man of 30 has been sent by magistrates to Lincoln Crown Court on a charge of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

Danny Inglis, of St Paul’s Road, Spalding, is accused of the committing the offence against Simon Deykin, in the town’s New Road, on October 13.

Inglis is due to appear on bail at the crown court on November 14.

Andrew Lal (28), of Edinburgh Drive, Spalding, is accused of affray on the same occasion in New Road by using or threatening unlawful violence against Zachery Le Sage.

Lal was bailed to appear at the crown court on February 27.

Neither man entered a plea when they appeared before Spalding magistrates on Thursday.
