Thieves take 700 litres of diesel

About 700 litres of red diesel has been stolen from an area of Sutton St James twice within two weeks.

Thieves targeted tractors in Draw Dyke, with 500 litres of fuel stolen between midnight on July 14 and 6pm on July 15, before another 200 litres was stolen between Sunday and Thursday.

Meanwhile, intruders stole cash and other goods after breaking in to a house in Mill Lane, Gedney Hill, between 10am on Saturday July 5 and 10.30pm on Saturday July 19.
