Raiders escaped with petty cash after breaking into a Spalding charity shop at the weekend.

Intruders targeted the Sense shop in Station Street overnight on Sunday when the front door was forced opened before the shop was ransacked and cash stolen, although the exact amount is unknown.

“Incidents like these prevent the local community’s valued donations and generous contributions to reach the people they were intended to support. If you have any information about the break-in please contact the police.”
