A red Honda quad bike and a green Countax ride-on lawn mower have been stolen in Gosberton Clough.

It happened at about 11.50am on Tuesday and the quad bike was fitted with front and back sprays for crop spraying.

Police are linking a white transit van, last seen in Hundred Fen, to the theft, with the quad bike having been seen in the front.

Anyone with information should call police on 101, quoting incident 178 of June 30.

Meanwhile, church leaders in Long Sutton, Sutton Bridge and Tydd St Mary are being warned about an increase in thefts from churches in nearby Norfolk.

A blue Renault Megane has been seen at various sites in Norfolk and police in Lincolnshire are alerting churchwardens along the county’s border to be on the lookout.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said: “Although the perpetrators change their vehicles regularly, please ensure that any suspicious vehicles around church premises are reported as soon as possible to enable local patrols to check the vehicle details and reason for their attendance on site.

“If possible, record the make, colour and the registration number of the vehicle, as well as the number of occupants, before ringing 101 at any time.”
