It’s business at usual at a pub in Crowland that was the scene of an armed robbery just days ago.

Police say investigations are still ongoing after robbers threatened the landlord of the George and Angel with a gun in the early hours of Friday morning.

Three intruders are believed to have entered via a window but fled when they were disturbed. They made off with cash, mobile telephones and some alcohol.

The landlord, aged 31, and his partner, aged 26, were the only people in the premises at the time and were shaken by the experience but otherwise unhurt.

The offenders are described as males dressed in dark clothing and wearing balaclava.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the vicinity of the public house is asked to call DS Nicola Stafford of Spalding CID on 101. Alternatively they can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
