A printing firm’s office in Spalding office is to shut for good after a staff member was threatened at knifepoint.
Elsam Cross Printers on London Road has been closed ever since a man grabbed a woman staff member and demanded cash on Wednesday September 4 when he also threatened to come back and kill her if she spoke to police.
The attempted robbery is still being investigated but Elsam Cross director Nick Ward confirmed in a letter to customers this week that the firm had decided to cease trading from the office.
He said: “This has not been an easy time for our staff and I hope you will be able to understand our decision.”
Anyone with information should call police on 101.
