LINCOLNSHIRE Police are finalising plans on how to use a disused pub in Spalding.

The authority bought the Queensgate Hotel in Westlode several months ago.

The hotel, which is situated directly in front of Spalding’s police station, had been empty for some time.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said: “I can confirm that we have bought the premises and are currently looking into various options for how we will use it.

“At the moment I’m unable to offer any idea on a timescale for the project.”
