People can feel the force for the right reasons when the police meet the public in Sheep Market car park, Spalding, next week.

The first in a series of annual summer community engagement days, organised by Lincolnshire Police, takes place next Thursday.

John Horton, engagement and campaigns officer for Lincolnshire Police, said, “In many respects, these events formalise what officers and PCSOs do every working day.

“But they also provide opportunities for more in-depth conversations, although the content and structure of each event vary depending on availability of officers.

“These events will feature operational vehicles, an opportunity to speak to senior officers and the Police and Crime Commissioner, Marc Jones, volunteer for the Lincolnshire and obtain crime prevention advice.

“They are a high-profile opportunity for the police to engage with local people in Spalding.”
