Christians in South Holland keen on serving their community can find out more about volunteering as a street pastor.

An information event hosted by Spalding Street Pastors is being held at The Lighthouse Church, Haverfield Road, Spalding, on Wednesday January 15 at 7.30pm.

Volunteers will be answering questions about being a street pastor, prayer pastor or CCTV operator who are based at Spalding Police Station in Westlode Street.

Pastor Chas Sandhu of the Lighthouse Church said: “We’re looking for people who are aged 18 and over, have been Christians for at least a year and committed to going out on the streets at night.”
