Five men facing court in connection with South Holland burglaries

Five men aged between 22 and 40 are due in court tomorrow to face charges relating to a number of burglaries, including two in South Holland.

Joseph Upton (40), John Leonard William Smith (38), Albert Thomas Smith (37), Alfred Stanley (35) and John Christopher Smith (22) are expected to appear before Cambridge magistrates charged with conspiracy to commit burglary.

The charges brought by the Regional Organised Crime Unit - Eastern Region - relate to the mens’ involvement in attacks on Barclays Bank, Market Place, Long Sutton, in August 2012 and the Norwich and Peterborough Building Society in Sheep Market, Spalding, in October 2012.
