A HOLBEACH business owner has branded the latest damage to his wall as “wanton vandalism”.
Holbeach Tyres on Boston Road South had the majority of the coping stones removed from its front wall some time between 6pm last Wednesday and 8am the following day.
The stones were left smashed on the forecourt.
Owner David Tinn said: “It’s just wanton vandalism. I am afraid, in my opinion, it’s society as we know it today. There are those who are hell bent on ruining it for everyone else.”
Mr Tinn said although there has been damage in the past, this has been the only incident in recent months.
PCSO Jane Gardner said: “Boston Road South is quite busy in the evenings and we are hoping someone may have seen this happening.”
Witnesses are asked to call 101.
