A fire which destroyed two fork lift trucks in Moulton Seas End on New Year’s Day is being treated as arson, say police.

Two JCB teleporters parked away from sheds at Bank House Farm in Common Road were set alight just before 10pm on Friday, January 1.

A Lincolnshire Police spokesman said it was thought to have been a “deliberate ignition and the investigation continues” as to who started the fire.

Firefighters from Holbeach and Kirton wore breathing apparatus while using a water hose reel to put out the fire, but there was no damage to any buildings and no one was injured.
