Three men have been arrested in Kirton on suspicion of involvement in human trafficking, police have revealed today.
The arrests took place in the early hours of Thursday and the men have since been interviewed by police.
One of the men, Marcin Wawrzynowski (29), of Grosvenor Road, Skegness, has been charged with two counts under the Asylum and Immigration Act 2006.
The charges relate to specifically and intentionally arranging or facilitating the travel of a person within the UK or another country with a view to their sexual exploitation.
Wawrzynowski appeared at Lincoln Magistrates Court yesterday and was remanded in custody to appear at Lincoln Crown Court by videolink on Thursday.
The other men, a 22-year-old from Hounslow and a 34-year-old from Skegness, have been released on police bail until an unspecified date while further police enquiries are carried out.
