A 42-year-old man has been arrested in connection with a spree of cash machine thefts in Lincolnshire and three other counties.

The man was interviewed by Leicestershire Police about a series of thefts between October 1 and December 16 when ATMs were ripped from supermarket walls using a JCB digger.

It is unclear whether the thefts include those at Co-op stores in Market Deeping on October 1 and Kirton on November 11.

The man was released on police bail while enquiries continue.
