It comes after three people were targeted on Tuesday, including an 80-year-old man in Donington.
The victim had money stolen from his wallet after he allowed a man into his home at about 1.30pm. The man claimed to be working on pipes down the road for the “Water Board”.
He is described as being 5ft 8ins tall, 20-years-old, of stocky build and with short brown hair. He is said to have a deep voice and a local accent and was wearing a high visibility waistcoat.
Burglaries also took place in Grantham and Louth. It is unclear whether the incidents are connected.
