A BILL of £175 has been handed to a man who was drunk and swearing in a pub in Bourne.

Leigh Rodgers (38), of Stretham Way, Bourne, pleaded guilty to the public order offence when he appeared at Spalding Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.

Rodgers was arrested on September 30 after police warned him not to swear in the Red Lion pub.

Rodgers was ordered to pay a £75 fine, £85 costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
