Witness plea after attack on pensioner

Police would like help in finding a man who made a seemingly motiveless assault on a 68-year-old pensioner.

The incident happened in West End, Holbeach, on Sunday, January 13.

A man was walking along the road near to NatWest when a blue car pulled up and a male got out and punched him in the face. The attacker got back in the car and drove off, leaving the pensioner with injuries to an eye.

Anyone with information is asked to call police on 101.
