Man in custody after spate of burglaries in Spalding

A man is being held in custody on suspicion of burglary following a spate of crimes in Spalding.

Burglaries were reported in the Tollgate, Pennygate and Hawthorne Bank areas this morning.

In separate incidents, burglaries reported in the early hours of Thursday morning in the Riverside Park area and Cowbit Road are now being treated as linked.

Anyone who believes they may have witnessed any of the incidents, or saw anything suspicious, is asked to call police on 101.
