Man and woman face drugs charges

A man and a heavily pregnant woman appeared in court on Thursday accused of possessing drugs, including heroin.

Zena Lunness (33), who is due to give birth in three weeks time, and Terry Parberry (27), who live at the same address in Winsover Road, Spalding, had their cases adjourned by Spalding magistrates to March 7 to allow them to take legal advice.

Lunness is accused of possessing the class A drug, heroin, on September 5, the class B drug, cannabis, on the same date, and the class C drug, diazepam, also on the same date.

Parberry is accused of obstructing a police officer exercising his powers under the Misuse of Drugs Act on September 5 and of possessing heroin and diazepam on that date.
