The following decisions have been made by magistrates at court hearings. In all drink-drive cases the legal limit is 35 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, 80 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood or 107 milligrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of urine. Addresses of defendants published here are taken from the legal records held by the magistrates’ courts. V/S means victim surcharge.

Boston Magistrates’ Court

October 5

Jimmy Clark (47), of Blunts Drove, Walton Highway. Drink driving (Sutton St Edmund). £200 fine, £20 v/s, £85 costs, disqualified from driving for 16 months. No separate penalty for driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence. No insurance. £120 fine.

James Coddington (31), of Thames Road, Spalding. Assaulted a police officer (Spalding). £50 compensation. No separate penalty for using threatening, abusive or insulting words or behaviour. No action taken on breach of conditional discharge. Suspended sentence of imprisonment of 6 weeks suspended for 12 months imposed on 6.6.16 implemented as sentence of 5 weeks concurrent.

Jonathan Giglio (32), of Barnes Road, Spalding. Drink driving (Donington). £100 fine, £30 v/s, £85 costs, disqualified from driving for 38 months. Failed to stop after an accident (Donington). £50 fine. Possession of cannabis. 12 months conditional discharge.

Paul Knight (39), of Towngate East, Market Deeping. Drink driving (Market Deeping). £200 fine, £30 v/s, £85 costs, disqualified from driving for 20 months.

Virginijus Krasauskas (45), of Hall Hill Road, Holbeach. Drink driving (Holbeach). £300 fine, £30 v/s, £85 costs, disqualified from driving for 14 months.

Matthew Dye (31), of Sholts Gate, Whaplode. Criminal damage (Spalding). £200 compensation. No separate penalty for failing to surrender to magistrates’ court.

Matthew Dye (31), of Sholts Gate, Whaplode. Stole Remy Martin cognac, Kinder chocolate and Kinder Surprise worth £35.60 belonging to Sainsbury’s (Spalding). £100 fine, £35.60 compensation, £30 v/s, £85 costs. Criminal damage. £100 compensation.

Kenneth Fovargue (61), of Station Road, Surfleet. Driving while disqualified (Surfleet). 10 weeks prison sentence suspended for 12 months, £115 v/s, £85 costs, 6pts. No separate penalty for no insurance.

Peter English (55), of Angell Lane, Holbeach. Stole 23 wooden fence panels worth £758.77 belonging to Andrews and Co (Spalding). £314 compensation. Stole 7 wooden fence panels, 14 fence posts and 14 gravel boards worth £628.23 belonging to Gibbs and Dandy (Spalding). £758.77 compensation. No separate penalty for commission of a further offence whilst subject to order of conditional discharge for an offence of making off without payment.

Brandon Campbell (24), of Thorney Road, Crowland. Brandon Wright (24), of NFA. Failed to stop after an accident (Sutton Bridge). £120 fine,£30 v/s, £85 costs, disqualified from driving for 6 months.
