Age UK Boston and South Holland has teamed up with Roythornes Solicitors to offer people the chance to make a will, at the same time providing Age UK with much needed income.
Instead of paying Roythornes for the work, supporters will be asked to make a donation to Age UK Boston & South Holland of £75 for a single will and £115 for a double. The level of donation is below Roythornes’ usual charges.
Last year the scheme raised more than £3,000 for the local Age UK.
Seven out of ten people do not have a will, and this can leave enormous problems for those we least want to cause upset to.
Making a will is a sensible move and the best way to ensure that those you care for are looked after when you are not around to do so.
It is a simple process and gives you the chance to remember family, friends, and charitable causes.
