A COMMUNITY day of fun and entertainment was on offer in Holbeach St Marks on Sunday.
It was the third time residents have joined staff from Bakkavor Pizza and Bakkavor Freshcook at the village hall and playing field to help raise money for charity.
Despite seven cars having their tyres punctured in a nearby road (see page three), visitors refused to let it dampen their spirits and joined in the entertainment.
Bakkavor Pizza HR manager Claire Wheatley said: “The day went seamlessly with a great turnout from the local community and employees of the Bakkavor site.
“It was great to see all the activities being enjoyed by people of all ages. We couldn’t have hoped for better weather and the feedback throughout the day was superb.”
Throughout the day there were displays by Diamond DG, Lincolnshire Dance for Life, a martial arts demontration and Berkley Owls.
Youngsters had the chance to meet Ed the Clown, have their faces painted and watch a magic show.
Live bands Sphere, No Danger and Bullet Tooth were also on-stage throughout the day.
Food and drink were available all day.
All proceeds from the day will be donated to the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance and The Respite Association.
