SAINSBURY’S has been giving food for thought about a new store planned for King’s Lynn by getting out into the community.

Members of the store’s Try Team visited a charity event in Long Sutton last Tuesday to give a cooking demonstration and a taste of things to come.

The new store is being built next to the Hardwick Roundabout and will include a pharmacy and an opticians. A beautician will also be on hand to help customers.

Sian Fox, of the Try Team, said: “About 50 men and women attended. As it was a rural community, the audience was particularly interested in our policy on Fair Trade, Freedom Foods and buying British. It was very successful and we’ve already been invited back.”
