“Fantastic” support for a summer barbecue will help secure the future of a village hall.

The event was organised by Marjorum Beehive Association in association with the Black Horse pub in Gosberton Risegate, which hosted an afternoon and evening of fun, including good food, tug o’ war, face painting, craft stallS and games.

The event raised about £500 towards the upkeep of the Marjorum Hall, Gosberton Risegate.

Marjorum Beehive Association secretary Joanna Taylor said: “It was excellent, we had such a great turn-out and everyone was up for a great time.

“Everyone commented on what a fantastic job Lucy and Bruce of the Black Horse did and it was nice to see so many new faces.”
