STAFF at the Anglia Co-operative foodstore in Market Deeping clocked up the miles to help their local air ambulance.

The Godsey Lane store team, family – and even some customers – pedalled on a gym bike to cover 500 miles and raise money for the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

About 20 people were involved in the week-long effort, which raised over £400 – bringing the total raised by the store for the air ambulance this year to over £5,000.

The ride was the idea of Helen Wood, one of the store’s community champions. She’s pictured here doing a stint on the bike.
