The brand new Vintage and Classic Car, Van and Motorbike Show at Long Sutton Barns on Sunday was a big success and will pave the way for at least two repeats next year.
Owners made tracks for the Wisbech Road site in vehicles of all shapes and sizes and around 650 visitors turned up.
An aircraft from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight also delighted visitors as it flew over the site on its way to a distant appointment.
The show was organised by Paul West and Norman Honeyman and the £350 raised will go towards Long Sutton Barns, a community project that helps small arts and crafts businesses.
Duncan Barker-Magown, from Long Sutton Barns, said: “People came up from London, Harlow and Scotland, which is amazing for a little, tiny show.”
Next year’s classic car events will be held on June 11-12 and July 10.
• Long Sutton Barns will host a lampwork event this Saturday from 10am-4pm and a Macmillan pamper event will run from 10am-8.30pm on Friday, September 25.
