FORMER Formula One team owner Colin Crabbe helped to raise £370 for charity with a talk to classic car enthusiasts in Spalding.

Mr Crabbe gave an insight into his career of almost 50 years working with cars on almost every level in aid of the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.

More than 100 guests turned out to meet him in an event organised by Spalding and East Elloe Classic Car Club.

Secretary Joy Mann said: “It was well supported and it was a great evening.”

The club will be fundraising again on Sunday with a classic car run from Birchgrove Garden Centre in Pinchbeck to Skegness for the RNLI.
