A brand new drama group in Bourne promises Christmas fun for all the family at its first ever show tomorrow (7pm).

EPIC – Elsea Park in Costume based at The Centre on the estate – are presenting A Christmas Cringle, a mix of popular festive songs, Christmas comedy, as well as mulled wine and mine pies.

Group founder Terry Whitehead said: “We are determined to make EPIC a success and the great core of members decided to organise a Christmas-themed event that could be staged and which might encourage others to join us.

“We have some great songs which will really engage the audience. Success on the night will be very much down to those who come along taking part. The idea of comedy and carols might not be unique but I’ve never heard of anything similar before.”

Tickets cost £5/£3 under 15s available from The Centre.
