Donington’s Christmas Fayre on Sunday (10am-3.30pm) has involved the whole village.

All of the village’s groups and many of its businesses have helped with the fair at Thomas Cowley High School, due to be opened by Santa at 10am.

As well as Santa’s grotto, 50 stalls of homemade crafts and Christmas gifts plus a free children’s roundabout and vintage steam engine, a programme of musical entertainment has been arranged.

This will be by the Thomas Cowley High School’s Glee Club, The Golden Notes, St Nicolas Players and Holbeach Town Band.

Hot food and drinks are being served all day.

Entry is free.
