Christianity’s darkest day was observed in Spalding where believers went on a walk of witness for Good Friday.

Christians marked the death of Jesus Christ by carrying a wooden cross to Hall Place where an open air service was held on Friday morning.

The Vicar of Spalding, Rev John Bennett, said: “Good Friday is an emotional journey into the heart of darkness and execution.”
