The children have broken up from school and weeks of fun-packed activities lay ahead of them.
South Holland District Council has produced a booklet, Summer Fun 2015, listing all the holiday activities, sports, arts and entertainment that is available across the district.
This week, there is Taekwondo for over 7s at the Castle Sports Complex in Spalding on Friday (7.30pm) and Sunday (10.30am-noon) until September 6 – 01775 760190.
For over 6s, Taekwondo is held on Mondays and Thursdays each week until September 3 at the Castle Sports Complex – 07941 069510.
Over 11s can train with Nene Valley Harriers at South View Primary School in Crowland, from Friday until August 24 – 012733 210609.
Children over ten can learn how to play table tennis at the Castle Sports Complex on Wednesdays until August 26 (7.30pm) – 01775 760162.
Pond dipping starts on Thursday for youngsters aged five to 12 at RSPB Frampton Marsh Nature Reserve and is held on Tuesdays and Thursdays until September 1 – 01205 724678.
Otherwise, youngsters can experience blacksmithing (07960 587724); go on a mini monsters bug hunt (01205 724678); or join a Superhero Day at Bookmark on Friday (2.30pm) (01775 769231).
