SPEEDY shopper Pauline Pittman grabbed groceries worth £168 in a three-minute trolley dash for her mum, Margaret Whaley.
The fundraising event was organised by the Sue Ryder shop at Holbeach and tickets worth more than £700 were sold.
Margaret won first prize and put her daughter in the hot seat for the mad dash around the town’s Budgens supermarket.
Sue Ryder branch manager Julie Clarke said: “Pauline was cheered on by family members, staff from Sue Ryder and Budgens staff, who kindly stayed on to hold the event.”
The charity cares for people with long-term and end of life needs in their own homes as well as in seven hospices and seven residential care centres.
