The three Rotary clubs in Spalding are holding a charity auction at the bulb auction in Enterprise Way, Pinchbeck, on Saturday (10am).
It’s to raise funds for DEBRA, a charity that helps children born with Epidermolysis Bullosa.
President of the Rotary Club of South Holland Peter Kite says the three clubs – including Spalding and Welland – are working together to support the charity.
He said: “It’s pretty rare, but it’s a horrible disease. It’s where the outer skin doesn’t attach to the inner skin and the children get terrible blisters and tend to get infections so their life expectancy is short. However, there is hope of a cure through stem cell technology.”
