St Laurence Church in Surfleet held three Lent lunches this year prepared by Annette Rhodes and Doreen Drakard.

The profit from these was divided between two local causes; The Callum Pite Smile Charity and the Boston and South Holland Branch of the Multiple Sclerosis Society. Each of these charities received £142.

Callum Pite’s Charity helps to support young people with cancer and the Boston and South Holland Branch provides help and support for people with MS in the local area.

The cheques were presented at the weekly Friday mini market and coffee shop held in the Fraiser Room by the Vicar of the Glen Group of Churches, Rev David Sweeting to Alan Holliday, chairman of the MS Branch and Clare of the Callum Pite Smile Charity.
