If you’ve ever fancied trying your hand at a new craft, a Dabble Day could be just the way to get you started.
The event at Long Sutton Barns, White Hill Farm, Wisbech Road, is being organised by the Bridge Buns and Roses Womens’ Institute group, but is open to non-members too.
President of the newly reformed Sutton Bridge branch Jane Wilkinson explained that during the Dabble Day – which runs from 10am to 4pm on Sunday, September 21 – people will be able to try several different crafts for a small fee of between £3 and £5 for each one.
While activities on offer will include stained glass, mosaic, sugarcraft and crochet plus there will also be the chance to learn more about the WI in general – with those joining up in October receiving three months’ membership free.
Entry to the event is £1 for WI members and £1.50 for non-members, including entry to the raffle.
