Could you, your sister, daughter, granddaughter or friend be the perfect ambassador for South Holland?

If so, they should enter the competition to become the first ever Tulip Radio Tulip Queen by grabbing a form and filling it in today.

The first ever Tulip Radio Tulip Queen will be invited to several glamorous and exciting events across the area, such as Tulipmania and the People’s Parade, as well as several openings of businesses, fetes, carnivals and luncheons.

Her first job will be to switch on the Christmas lights in Spalding with Santa on November 28.

She will also win prizes from Fancy Frox, Hills Department Store, Strands of Spalding and Loaded Nightclub.

Jan Whitbourn, from organisers Tulip Radio, said: “This is an amazing opportunity for one young lady to be an ambassador – it is such an exciting thing.”

Entrants must be over 17, and forms are available at the Free Press and Tulip Radio, both in The Crescent, Spalding and Loaded Nightclub.
