Residents are going to have a chance to give their thoughts on a new community facility planned for Wygate Park in Spalding.
The latest phase of new homes has released some funding for a community facility on land adjacent to the new school.
Between April 15 and May 9, the community is being consulted to find out what the needs of residents are and what type of facility would best meet these needs.
As an impartial and independent registered charity, Community Lincs will be organising the community consultation and providing a report analysing the feedback, summarising the findings and making recommendations from them.
Community Lincs works to improve the quality of life for individuals and communities across Lincolnshire.
If you live in the Wygate Park area, a questionnaire will be delivered to your home on or around April 15 for you to give your views and thoughts about issues such as:
n How a new community facility could meet your needs;
n What facilities you think should be available;
n What activities you think should take place in the new facility;
n Whether or not you could offer any time and or expertise to support a new community facility.
Community Lincs asks residents to give some time to completing the survey – either on-line or in writing. Instructions are given at the top of the survey form.
Households completing and returning the survey will be automatically entered into a free prize draw to win a cash prize of £50.
Anyone who has not received a survey questionnaire and who would like to make their views known in relation to the consultation, can do so by emailing their comments to: firstname.lastname@example.org or posting them to Roy Pell, Community Lincs, The Old Mart, Church Lane, Sleaford, Lincolnshire, NG34 7DF.
The findings from the consultation and the winner of the prize draw will be publicised later in 2015.
