CELEBRITY hairstylist Lee Stafford will be demonstrating his skills on stage in Spalding at a seminar partly organised by students of University Academy Holbeach.
Lee, well-known for his success in hairdressing and for his TV appearances on Celebrity Scissor Hands and Secret Millionaire, will be working with level 2 and 3 students from The Perfection Hair, Beauty and Spa department, who assisted in the planning and organisation of the event.
The department is part of a 6th form vocational training establishment within the academy where students have the opportunity to gain industry-recognised qualifications ranging from level 1 to 3 in hair, beauty and spa.
The students have arranged the seminar – which includes stage demonstrations of avant-garde hair designs and special effect make-up – at Springfields Events Centre on Monday, May 28 (doors open 7pm for a 7.30pm start).
Lee will appear on stage, presenting inspirational techniques in cutting hair as part of the seminar.
Creative director of hairdressing Lucy Holmes said: “This provides our students with a vision of the preparation and organisation related to this kind of event and offers inspiration for their future careers and prospects, while giving them the opportunity to work with one of the industry’s most famous hair stylists, Lee Stafford, which is an honour in itself.”
Polka Dots Dance Academy from Spalding will also be performing on stage, sporting the students’ creative hair and beauty designs.
There are only 200 tickets available (£34 each), from: University Academy Holbeach, Hair, Beauty & Spa Department, telephone 01406 423042, extension 234/235, or email email@example.com
