HOLBEACH Old Tyme Dance Club members and guests stepped out in style to celebrate their diamond anniversary.

A 57-strong gathering met at the WI Hall for a three-course meal and sequence dance.

The club meets at the hall at 7.30pm on Thursdays, except the last week of the month when dances are held on Wednesdays. Members also enjoy a monthly Saturday night dance.

Chairman Keith Crawford said new members are always welcome and anyone keen to join can pop along to the club on one of its meeting nights.

He said: “It keeps you fit, you meet friends and you make friends. It’s just a very nice social evening.”

Mr Crawford says the club is delighted to be celebrating its diamond anniverary in the same year as the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
