A fashion show at a Spalding department store has helped keep a valuable lifesaver in the air.
Beales in Spalding held the catwalk event during the summer and donated the proceeds from ticket sales and a raffle to the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance.
Models for the show were provided by a local WeightWatchers group.
A cheque for more than £600 was presented to the good cause.
Shop manager Rhona Pieczka said: “The fashion show was well supported by the local community.
“We chose the air ambulance as all Beales colleagues felt passionate about the cause.
“Some had had experience of the benefit of the air ambulance and Linda Helmn, the operations manager here, has a daughter who works in A&E at Queen’s Medical Centre, Nottingham, and sees first hand the benefit.
“It is definitely a cause we will support again.”
