SWIMMING star Chloe Hannam has been given a funding boost to help her on her way to success.

Members of The Rotary Club of Spalding handed the 15-year-old a cheque for £100 to help towards the growing costs which come with her blossoming swimming career.

Chloe, a member of the South Lincs Competitive Swimming Club, faces the cost of travelling to Peterborough four times a week to train, competition entry fees and accommodation costs.

Mum Linda said: “After being at the British championships two weeks ago and seeing people she knows and are a little older look towards qualifying for the Olympics, she has the bug. “She wants to be there in four years, which is possible if she works on it and gets support financially.”

Anyone who would like to support Chloe should email fiona.turner@slcsc.co.uk or suzannecawley@fsmail.net
