A former Spalding care home is to become a house of multiple occupancy (HMO).

The Grenoble Rest House in Cowbit Road closed in July and now owners Chris Dunmore and Sarah Corlett plan to house nine residents.

There had been two complaints from neighbours regarding potential noise and parking issues, and the upkeep of the building.

However, Mrs Corlett told South Holland District Council’s planning committee there would be adequate off-street parking and an on-site manager.
