Lincolnshire Free Press readers are being asked to name a new housing company set up to meet the needs of the area’s growing population.
South Holland District Council recently launched the company to increase the supply of new homes in the district in a £15.2million project.
Now it wants your help to choose a name for the company – let us know your ideas to be in with a chance of winning four tickets to see a film of your choice at the South Holland Centre in Spalding.
Send your suggestions to email@example.com or by post to Housing Name Competition, Lincolnshire Free Press, Priory House, The Crescent, Spalding PE11 1AB by Friday, June 5 and please include your contact details.
The winning entry will be chosen by a council judging panel and announced shortly afterwards. You can also enter through our Facebook and Twitter accounts (LFPandSG and @LincsFreePress).
Coun Christine Lawton, portfolio holder for housing, said: “This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a new era for housing across the district.
“I’m looking forward to seeing the suggested names and helping to choose a winner.”
The project, funded by a mixture of loans and money from the council’s reserves, will boost growth in the local economy and help create new jobs.
The first phase of the scheme will see 142 much-needed new homes built over the next two years.
