One of the last events held for the Spalding Rotary Club’s Two Lips appeal has raised £105.

Hills Department Store sold fairy cakes in its restaurant – donating every penny to the appeal – and also held a raffle for a top brand perfume.

Spalding Rotary president Andy Prior and Hills director Katie Freeman drew the winning ticket for R Britten on the final day of the fundraising.

Good causes benefiting from this year’s Two Lips appeal are Spalding Age UK, Spalding St Barnabas Hospice, the town’s two swimming clubs, Spalding St John Ambulance and Rotary’s own good causes.

The good causes are expected to share in a £10,000 pot.
